Sundowns seemingly had the future of the team in mind after they signed goalkeeper Ronwen Williams in the off-season.
Mweene, who turns 38 in just under a week, has started preparing for life after football following his graduation at the PSL Transition Programme sponsored by Gordon Institute of Business Science . "In future, I want to do Project Management Degree or Diploma. And with online learning, I will get a chance to pursue the qualification."
However, only 27 players graduated and Mweene went on to thank the club for their support in the online course. "I give thanks to the club for the support they gave me, making it possible for me to be able to focus on my studies and for that, I'm grateful," he added.
