Gee, good for them. But when one of the key complaints about the present government is that it treats money like water and throws it around with the abandon of people who didn’t have to earn it, sneering at $50,000 isn’t a good image. Or shouldn’t be. dared to inquire about the candidate’s repeated attacks on vaccine mandates, Pierre Poilievre for Prime Minister issued a lengthy attack on “so-called journalists” who “smear me and thousands of other Canadians.”Article content
So OK. Pierre Poilievre doesn’t feel beholden to his own party or to attend its debates. He doesn’t feel the need to answer questions from “so-called journalists.” He sees no need to treat fellow leadership candidates with respect, or to explain his own viewsinsisting it’s all about “freedom.” As a so-called candidate, he prefers to make videos about some cool wooden beams he found and reworked for his house in Ottawa. You want more than that, you must be part of the Laurentian elite.
