It breaks a 12-year drought for Ditlhokwe and his nation. It’s good news for the 26-year-old who’s struggled for game time this season at Kaizer Chiefs.

“They have tried to give him a chance and be patient with him, but they are not getting the returns they expected from him,” a source told, midfield general Thabo Cele fancies a return to South Africa in 2025 after a spell in Russia with Fakel Voronezh. The enforcer has made 27 appearances for Fakel since moving there in August 2023 from Polish side Radomiak. Cele only has five South African caps under his belt after making a debut in 2017 under former Chiefs boss Stuart Baxter.
