A firearm call in Conception Bay South Tuesday resulted in one male being taken into custody. That man, identified as Justin Jennings, is well-known to police. KEITH GOSSE • THE TELEGRAMST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Justin Jennings will undergo a psychiatric assessment before he makes his next court appearance in relation to what police describe as a gun incident in Conception Bay South on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Jennings is charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, choking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breaching a release order given to him last month, when he was charged with violating a court-ordered curfew. Police say they found an injured man outside the home in question and he was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Officers arrested Jennings outside the residence at 12:20 p.m.
