Exclusive: JordanCWDavis returns to Louisiana for first hometown show in new clip

premieres exclusively below today , the singer-songwriter returns to Shreveport to perform at the Elks Lodge to help raise money to rebuild the town’s swimming pool. The clip has Davis revisiting the pool that he grew up swimming in ahead of a benefit concert with his Uncle Stan.

“This is the exact same tile that was there when I was on the swim team at 10 years old,” he marvels in the clip. “We’re playing a benefit tonight to help pay for this pool and help get the renovations done.” Renovations for the Elks Lodge pool will cost upwards of $90,000 and Davis and his uncle, who he calls one of the best songwriters and singers in town, performed a concert for those in the community.

“Shreveport means so much to me and was a huge inspiration for my songwriting. I’m excited to show people where I grew up and all of my favorite spots back home,” Davis tells because every song was in some way inspired by growing up in Louisiana, so I’m looking forward to showing fans how these songs came to life. This album has done better than I could have ever imagined and allowed me to pursue my dream of making music.

Davis’ journey is only getting better. Following a tour with Old Dominion, Davis is currently on the road as direct support for Rascal Flatts. The singer recently released the video for his latest single “Slow Dance In a Parking Lot” where he also revealed that he and his wife, Kristen, are expecting their first child together.
