The retired footballer has spoken out following the claims.
Footballer-turned-TV presenter Jermaine Jenas has now been accused of inappropriate behaviour by a number of women, it's been claimed.
The Mirror reports Jenas, who began his career with home town club Nottingham Forest, had his contract terminated by the corporation this week. He has since said he "was not happy" about the reports and there are "two sides to every story". It has been claimed that after one woman complained about the unsolicited messages, other female employees also came forward.
Staff at the BBC have been left in shock at the development. Director of Sport Alex Kay-Jelski emailed staff at 3.39pm on Thursday saying simply: "I wanted to let you know that Jermaine Jenas is no longer working for the BBC." Jenas joined the BBC show in 2020 and became a permanent host a year later. In a statement shared by a spokesperson to The Sun, Jenas said: "Right now I can't talk about it.
