Jermaine Jenas has been sacked by the BBC over alleged inappropriate behaviour from the former footballer and presenter
Multiple women are reported to have come forward with further accusations of "inappropriate behaviour" from Jermaine Jensen, after the former footballer and TV presenter was sacked on Thursday. The 41-year-old, known for his roles on Match of the Day and The One Show , was dismissed by the BBC following these allegations.
"The BBC knows it cannot now ignore concerns or complaints so after immediate routine enquiries the decision was taken to take him off air, and terminate his contract. They acted swiftly and decisively." A source told the Mirror: “The staff WhatsApps were suddenly abuzz with what was going on. There have been whispers that something was afoot but bosses had kept the investigation close to their chest.” Staff at The One Show were in the dark about the claims until Thursday morning.
