Emmerdale delivered a shocking twist for Cain Dingle on Wednesday as his wife Moira underwent critical brain surgery to remove a tumour.
ITV soap fans watched the day's events unfold in reverse chronological order, starting with Caleb Miligan finding his half-brother Cain inebriated and with blood-stained hands. Ruby was taken aback to find her brother-in-law Cain instead of him being at the hospital with Moira. Cain asked her: "Why you in my garage", to which Ruby responded: "Someone I wasn't bothered about seeing.", reports Leeds Live.
Fans of Emmerdale were outraged by Cain and Ruby's betrayal and expressed their anger on social media.
