Coronation Street enthusiasts reckon they've figured out how Ken Barlow will bring down The Institute and reclaim his £40k. Earlier this year, the audience was introduced to the enigmatic 'self-improvement group' known as The Institute. This cult, led by Rowan Cunliffe , attracted the attention of Leanne Battersby , a resident of the cobbles.
Things deteriorated further when Amy was told it would be challenging to recover the funds, as they had already been received by The Institute's parent company. Steve McDonald, played by Simon Gregson, and Tracy, portrayed by Kate Ford, were left feeling sickened and sought help from the police. However, they hit a brick wall when informed that there was no case to answer since Amy had willingly given away her money.
