‘It took a lot’: ‘Skeem Saam’ actress on playing Ntswaki [VIDEO]

Actress Lethabo Mekoa reflects on playing 'troubled' teenager Ntswaki, who was recently raped by her boyfriend in 'Skeem Saam'.

ACTRESS LETHABO MEKOA: ‘MY HEART GOES OUT TO EVERYONE“It took a lot for me to be able to shoot this scene! My heart goes out to everyone going through this or who have been in the same situation! Love and light,” she writes.

In the video, Mekoa’s shares a scene with Florence Masebe who plays Meikie and Mogau Motlhatswi who plays Mapitsi.She misses calls from the Maputlas and tells Toby she has to go home. But her boyfriend, who has no idea she’s underage goes through with it, without her consent.

You inspire me each and every day.”Her character is a 16-year-old, grade 10 learner at Turfloop High, who is both rebellious and smart.On Monday, 3 June episode, Ntswaki returned to Turfloop with her father after running away to her parents’ village.

She ran away after Detective Tsheole revealed that she lied about being a student at Turfloop University and lied to her boyfriend about her age.Thursday 13 June: “John warns Toby to stop harassing Ntswaki if he knows what’s good for him.”#SkeemSaam
