'Skeem Saam' viewers react to legendary actress Florence 'Flo' Masebe's debut as Meikie Maputla this week.
“Florence Masebe will be playing the character of Meikie Maputla. Debuting on the 15th of May and throughout the remainder of season 12,” says the show.
“To my dearest sesi Florence Masebe ‘ngwana Manamela’ as you fondly call me. You responded to the call of duty and did what you know best. @ZondiTalent: “Thank you for reminding us. Also thank you for letting us long time before today that they will be a change, due to some part of life issues for Mme Meikie.”
Florence Masebe steps in to play Meikie Maputla and it seems like something is brewing between Toby and Ntswaki but legally this could be challenging for both of them. Mantuli finally approves of Sthoko and Babelie’s relationship but they face more challenges as a couple. Lehasa…reports that Harriet Manamela was one of the original starring casts in the soapie when it debuted on SABC1 on 13 October 2011.
