“There’s areas here that’s completely devastated. The magnitude of this is what people are going to have to realize. The magnitude of this is large, it’s spread out and it’s not going to be taken care of in short order. This is going to be a long process.” “As we’re going around here this morning, we are well over that. Everywhere we go we’re running into something else.”Button said a lot of the town’s infrastructure has also been damaged, but it is too early to tell the full extent.

Homes are not the only loss in the town, as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police has opened a missing person’s report for a woman believed to have been swept into the sea.
