Likewise, the invisibility of trans health in health and medical education in the country creates challenges among Filipino healthcare workers in providing quality healthcare for their trans clients []. While some healthcare providers have limited or no knowledge of trans-specific healthcare , others have also been enablers and perpetrators of stigma and discrimination . This is further compounded by the representation of trans identities in psychological and psychiatric sciences.
