The Harbour Police were called to the incident on Hamilton Road this morning after a cherry picker allegedly fell off of a lorry.
A man has been taken to hospital following an incident involving a cherry picker and a lorry in the Titanic quarter this morning.
It is understood that staff from the nearby Titanic Hotel were the first to attend the incident and provide support for the injured man before paramedics arrived at the scene. "Today though my thoughts, and I know those of many others, are very much with the gentleman taken to hospital and his loved ones."
A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson: “HSENI attended the scene of this morning’s incident. We are unable to make any further comments at this stage”.
