Papa John's has a new look — see inside the pizza chain's first redesigned modern restaurants
The brand intentionally created both horizontal and vertical stacked versions of the logo to work on signs, TV, and digital assets.The new custom font was "inspired by the way Papa John's fresh, never-frozen dough moves and stretches when team members craft pizza," the company said in a statement.The chain kept its signature red and green colors, and says they're inspired by ingredients pictured in "larger than life' photography in restaurants.
They're designed to enable better contactless ordering, and let customers skip waiting in line.The interior of the store is white and easy to clean, intended to keep customers focused on the "dough show."The makeline is now modular, Papa John's says, to allow different areas to be used for preparing different items depending on need.The new design will allow workers to prepare pizzas more quickly during peak times, Papa John's says.
