Ikea's new collection is designed with the idea of creating a streamlined gaming and living space in the home
Best known for its Scandi-style flat-pack furniture and incredible meatballs, Ikea is branching out with its newest collection. The Swedish superstore will launch a range of furniture specifically designed for gamers.‘A game-changing new collection’ Ikea’s new BRÄNNBOLL collection is described as ‘a game-changing collection for gaming across the home’.
And many of the products, says Ikea, ‘carry multiple functions and are designed to be moved around and adapted to different spaces – enabling gamers to swiftly set up an immersive gaming environment and then transition back to their everyday living space without effort.’Philip Dilé, Product Design Developer at Ikea, says:
‘It’s about making it simple for people to create spaces that adapt to gaming, living, and everything in between. ‘This connection between the player and the game can hopefully lead to a more engaging and immersive experience.’
