Last year, a clever cat bed hack for IKEA’s popular KALLAX units was trending on TikTok. Pet owners had noticed that the popular cube storage shelving provide a perfect space for a moggie to hide away in. By cutting a hole in the side of KALLAX cardboard boxes and slotting them into their KALLAX units, inventive pet owners were creating DIY cat houses on the cheap.
