Iffy outfields and plucky Dutch: Proteas embrace truth and deception of Dharamshala
DHARAMSHALA. - It's not as crude as some of the supposed beauties one meets on online dating sites, but there's little doubt Dharamshala's looks are deceiving.
On Forsyth Ganj's one main road, a few relatively swanky new apartments are opposed by a crude shack made of sheet metal that wouldn't look out of place in South Africa's poorest areas. In pouring rain - which fetched almost 35mm in some place on Monday - Dhauladhar Peak seems relatively mundane as mist covers most of it like a typical mountain in the Western Cape.
