'I won £36k after my boss refused to let me reduce my hours to care for my baby'
A DISABLED mum has won £36,000 after not being allowed to work fewer hours so she could care for her newborn., resigned from her role as a project manager at the British Deaf Association after her request to work two or three days a week was refused.Lisanne had wanted to reduce her hours as she returned from maternity leave in February 2019.-based charity refused the request to cut her four day working week to 16 hours over two days or 24 hours over three days.
And ruling on the case, Judge Patrick Quill said that the company's refusal over her working hours was based on "false information" that Lisanne, from Kent, would be travelling for seven hours a day.
