Prominent Royal AM supporter Joy Chauke, popularly known as Mama Joy, has hit out after reportedly being denied entry into Orlando Stadium for a large part of Wednesday's encounter against Orlando Pirates. Read more here ▶️
Chauke, who was a popular long-serving supporter of the Buccaneers switched allegiances recently to Royal AM after their establishment in the DStv Premiership.
"I had no complimentary tickets on me, I would have understood if I was forcing my way into the VIP section, but instead I used the gate that is used by supporters. "We've been instructed not to allow you into the stadium. You can go to whatever gate they will not allow you in. Every security has been briefed about you.'
“The Pirates security Nhlanhla changed his story when he was asked why I’m being denied entry, he said ‘No gates were not yet open that time.’ When in fact it was 14:45 when I got there.
