he has “grown up watching and admiring the Royal Family”, an admiration that stemmed from his grandmother, who was herself a huge fan of the Queen.Mr Martin said the Queen’s passing has reminded him of the time he brought his grandparents to the UK in 2013, during which they visited a number of Royal sites, including Buckingham Palace, the Sandringham Estate and Balmoral.“As soon as I heard the Queen wasn’t well, for me it was like a family member.
“It is a beautiful place and knowing how much the Queen loved that place as well probably just brought back a lot of memories. “It’s hard to describe. To a lot of other people it probably seems really silly, but I just feel such a connection.”
