Some fans said they didn't know who many of the 'celebrities' were
Just minutes after Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly opened the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers were complaining on Twitter. They were unhappy about some of the celebrities they were being introduced to in the first episode.
Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is due to arrive in the Australian jungle at a later date, The Mirror reports. The programme is back in its 'spiritual home' Down Under this year after spending two years in Wales due to the Covid-19 pandemic.Shortly after the new season began, frustrated viewers took to Twitter to vent their annoyance, complaining about the celebrities on their screens.
Ant and Dec appeared thrilled to be back in Australia after their two years in Wales. Last year the show was cancelled briefly when storms hit the camp and damaged some of the production site, with the celebrities moved out of the camp for a while for the first time in history. Dec added: " We had two lovely years in Wales, we really enjoyed our time in Wales, but this show has to be in Australia, we have to go back."
