“The Coal Bowl police won’t let us,” added Joyce Marsh, who claimed to only serve the dogs and not know the preparation secret. Its original creator is a bit of a mystery, though. Or maybe just another hot dog-related secret they are keeping at the BEC gym. It was the late Betty MacLeod that passed it on to her and that was only during the last Coal Bowl Classic.A taste of the legendary dog was worth the wait for many who had never tried them and for those anticipating their return.
