One of the players offloaded by Orlando Pirates is heading back home as he seeks to revive a career that has had little progress through the three years that he has spent in the PSL.
Pirates have been busy restructuring their squad with Happy Jele, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Justice Chabalala, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Kwanda Mngonyama, Linda Mntambo, Abel Mabaso, and Gabadinho Mhango leading the cast of those that have left.Muwowo joined from Nkana in July 2019 but so bad was his battle for game-time that he only played twice in his first season before pushing his tally to seven for the second.
With such struggles, Pirates then whisked him away to Swallows on loan at the start of last season where he only enjoyed minutes through the month before falling away again to end up with a mere six appearances. "I’m looking at bringing him back to Zambia because he never had enough game time in South Africa which didn’t help him in terms of getting another club so I’m just trying to see if I can bring him back to Zambia and see what happens after that," his manager Nawa Nyambe tells"We decided to separate on mutual grounds with Pirates as he still had another two years remaining on his contract.
"The player is still in South Africa doing individual training but is due to come back anytime soon," says Nyambe.
