Former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn, who left the soap in 2021, has claimed that there was 'a lot of pressure' placed on the female cast of the 'sexy soap'
Actress Sarah Jayne Dunn says that female cast members on Hollyoaks were made to feel “really uncomfortable” were “pitted against each other” while working on the show.
“There was a lot of pressure put on us, there were a lot of expectations, and there was no care package put in place.” “They were basically told ‘as part of the contract you have to do these things’ and ‘if you don’t do these shoots then you won’t be given other opportunities’.” Shortly after Hollyoaks said cast members were not allowed “to be active on certain 18+ websites” and confirmed Sarah Jayne was departing the soap.
