superstar turned her attention to Nadira, who coincidentally just landed a big job working for Rafe Harcourt .Knowing that Nadira had access to Lord Rafe’s company credit card, the influencer attempted to sweet talk the wedding planner into using the card in question to help her out.
Initially, Nadira saw right through Rayne, shocked by her audacity to ask such a thing but, like she always does, Rayne changed gears, concocting a sob story about how she’ll lose the opportunity to use the manor house if she doesn’t put down a holding deposit within the next two hours.
But if there’s two things we know about Rayne, she’s got a penchant for lying and a tendency to serve herself andherself, so it’s likely that Nadira will be in a whole world of trouble from her employer when the truth comes out, thus making her yet another victim of Rayne’s reign of terror.
