Reese Kelly opened the scoring late in the first half for the Hurricanes. Emily LePine made it a two-goal game at 52:30.Brianna Spencer stopped eight of nine shots for the Hurricanes. Marissa Archibald made four saves for St. Thomas.

Sam Walsh pitched a complete-game victory, allowing four runs , five hits, two walks and striking out five.Peacock, who allowed four earned runs on five hits and three walks, was the pitcher of record for the Hurricanes. Peacock recorded five strikeouts.
