Halifax Regional Police has charged a woman accused of impersonating a child welfare employee in Halifax. - FileHALIFAX, N.S. — Halifax police have charged a 39-year-old woman after she allegedly impersonated a child welfare services employee and tried to have a youth removed from a home last week.
Police said the woman asked for help removing a young person from a home. After officers met the woman at the provided address, police said she continued to say she worked with child welfare services.
