Police are investigating after the tourist bureau in Liverpool was spray painted with what police say was hateful language last month. | SaltWire
Officers learned that someone had vandalized the building with graffiti between the evening of Jan. 8 and the early morning hours of Jan. 9.
Later in the morning of Jan. 9, investigators learned that a dark-coloured sedan with an Ontario license plate was parked at the tourist bureau.The two talked before expressing"the same hateful language that had been spray painted at the bureau," said RCMP.The man who was on foot had a beard. RCMP said investigators are conscious that the vandalism"is consistent with being motivated by bias, prejudice or hate against an identifiable group."
