Gugulethu residents lash Maimane's 'fly by night' crime memorandum as 'cheap' politicking
BOSA party leader Mmusi Maimane had Gugulethu residents fuming after he handed over a memorandum to the local police station calling for serious intervention in reducing the ongoing crime in the community.
The community policing forum said Maimane's memorandum was made without consulting the forum and residents about their concerns. CPF chairperson Ntandazo Gcingca said they were"not impressed" with Maimane's political agenda, which he said was all about politicking ahead of the May elections.
