Elections 2024: Maimane wasn't experienced but DA is now on the right track - John Steenhuisen
DA leader John Steenhuisen says he sometimes misses former party leader Mmusi Maimane on a personal level, but believes there was a"rush to find a leader that looked a certain way" and that Maimane was too inexperienced to lead the DA.
Speaking on News24's Q&A elections podcast, Steenhuisen looked back at the DA's disastrous 2019 election performance, and reflected on how Maimane's leadership affected the party.
