An organisation called New Era Initiative for Persons with Disabilities has donated N10,000 each to widows with disabilities in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.

The New Era Initiative for persons with disabilities has donated N10,000 each to ten widows living with disabilities in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capitalThe non-governmental organisation provided the financial grant as “part of ongoing efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable people”.

Adeyinka Adekunle, chair of the organisation, emphasised how important the initiative was to providing the much-needed assistance to marginalised groups.Tomisin Adeyefa, public relations officer of the NGO, restated the organisation’s commitment to empowering PWDs.Other members of the organisation, including Olusola Philip, Abosede Olaiya and Toyin Adekunle, also harped on the importance of judicious use of funds.
