The Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation board of directors has announced Giovanna Verrilli as the new CEO of the Greater Sudbury Airport Authority effective Aug. 15

A new CEO has been appointed to the Greater Sudbury Airport, with Giovanna Verrilli’s tenure beginning Aug. 15. In a media release issued by the Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation, it’s noted Verrilli is an “experienced industry leader.”

Verrilli has worked as director, commercial development, for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, where she led a commercial portfolio encompassing revenue generation, passenger experience and strategic partnerships at Pearson International Airport. In the media release, Verrilli said she looks forward to “building on the airport’s strengths as an economic driver in the community.”

The Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization that manages the Greater Sudbury Airport.
