OPP close investigation after elderly couple found dead in fire The West Nipissing OPP say their investigation into the deaths of two Sturgeon Falls seniors in a fire last fall is now complete. Emergency responders were called out to a fire on Quesnel Road Nov. 2, 2022. Two people were located deceased at the premises. Those individuals were later identified as married couple Joseph Brunet, 91, and Lorraine Brunet, 81, both from Sturgeon Falls.
