The Line of Duty star was on the show to discuss the third series of her hit BBC documentary Our Dementia Choir

Good Morning Britain viewers were left in tears on Tuesday following a performance by Our Dementia Choir. The group feature in a documentary alongside Nottingham-born actor Vicky McClure about the power of music being able to help those living with the disease.

Vicky appeared on GMB to discuss the third series of her documentary, with all episodes now available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The first two seasons saw the actor set out to discover the extent of music's power to combat dementia by forming a choir of people living with the condition in Nottingham. Speaking to hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins, Vicky said: "I couldn't be prouder of every single person who makes Our Dementia Choir what it is. Being able to record a song that gives voice to people living with dementia at the most famous recording studio in the world is an extraordinary achievement, and it's made even more incredible when you think that the recording was made with people living with dementia.
