Looks like Good Morning Britain wanted their viewers to relax this morning 🧘

Dr Vivek Trivedi, co-chair of the BMA Junior Doctors Committee, was explaining how poor pay and working conditions are causing doctors to leave the profession or move abroad. A survey also found that junior doctors and nurses were struggling to pay off their credit card bills after a string of pay cuts.

However, shortly before 7am, Dr Trivedi’s interview was abruptly switched to ethereal music although he was seen continuing to chat to the seemingly oblivious presenters. The music played for around two minutes before normal programming resumed at 6:54am and sound returned to the studio. Reacting to the bizarre moment, one viewer joked: ‘Has #GMB just gone full chillout mode unexpectedly or have those magic mushrooms from 7 years ago finally kicked in?’The junior doctor was being interviewed by Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins when the bizarre moment happened on Monday morning Also confused, one added: ‘Has GMB got relaxation music playing??
