Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward
The woman was approached in the common close area of a property on Arlington Place, pushed and had her purse taken by another woman. The robbery took place on Sunday, September 18 at around 9pm.
Luckily no one was hurt as a result but the incident has left the victim deeply shaken. Police are carrying out enquiries in the local area and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.The female suspect is described as white, aged 35 to 40 and of a heavy build with blonde hair. She was wearing a white t-shirt, black leggings, a black jacket, a black baseball cap and a white surgical mask.

“Likewise, if you have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation then please contact us.” Anyone with information is asked to make contact with officers via 101, quoting incident number 3321 of Sunday, 18 September, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
