WestFest, a cultural and community festival will launch its full programme tomorrow.
The annual celebration promises a colourful array of more than 120 events, performances, and activities across the full month of June.
The festival will see the return of the Vinicombe Street Gala, The Big Sunday at Kelvingrove Bandstand, the Queen Margaret Drive Festival and ‘Drag at The Bandstand’. You can find them at Kelvingrove Park Stewart Memorial Fountain at 1pm, Kelvingrove Galleries Front Piazza at 2pm and the Botanic Gardens at 3pm.Brendon McIlroy, WestFest’s director, founded the festival in 2022 in response to"overwhelming demand" for community and cultural events in the area.
