According to stats from removal comparison website Compare My Move, G12 and the west end are the most popular areas for movers but also come with a hefty price tag with the highest average house price of £263,897.
An affluent postcode has been named the most desirable area for movers as data shows workers are increasingly leaving London for Glasgow .
Glasgow South was also popular, G41 and G42 postcodes earned the second and third most popular places. The G12 area was previously named one of the coolest places to live in the UK in a Naturecan survey. It was voted 12th on their list of the Top 50 Coolest Places to Live, as voted for by the general public.
