Her fraudulent past came back to haunt her this week

A Glasgow NHS worker convicted of carrying out a John Lewis ticket and refund fraud has been struck off.

In their findings published last week, they explained she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court and admitted carrying out the deception to the tune of £1,660.But the sheriff took the view that there were exceptional circumstances justifying her behaviour, including her previous good and repayment of the money to John Lewis, and responded to her guilty plea with an absolute discharge, meaning no penalty was imposed or conviction recorded.
