Glasgow has been voted as one of the most 'honest' cities in the UK after a survey revealed that many of us locals living in the city would return money that we have stumbled across.
We've all come across the viral videos where there's a tenner lying on the ground and someone with a hidden camera lurking around the corner to see if they'll pick it up or not or said prankster asks if it has fallen out of anyone's pocket to see if someone will claim it.
But as it turns out, Glaswegians are the less likely group of people to do this and will often tell the truth, according to a recent study.It comes as Ticketgum commissioned a study with BestCasinoSites who surveyed 3,800 Brits across the country to see who would risk it all and keep £1,000 if they found it on the floor - and who would hand it in to the police.
Out of the women surveyed, 47.5 per cent revealed they would keep the money, only a tiny fraction higher than the men that were asked and those who didn’t classify their gender . Out of the surveyed, Liverpool and Glasgow had the least amount of voters who would keep the money with a small 35 per cent making us some of the most honest people in the UK.
