The 'fixer upper' in Scotland's capital city is need of major repairs - as photos reveal piles of waste and a dilapidated interior.

An 'uninhabitable' flat in one of Britain's most expensive cities is on the market for just £60,000 - as pictures show the disarray inside.

Major repairs and refurbishment will be needed to make it livable. Flat 3/3 at 164 Great Junction Street in Leith will be up for auction on September 13 at the Radisson Red Hotel in Glasgow. For just £59,500, the one-bed flat is the cheapest flat available in the city, located in the popular area of Leith.

Currently, the property is declared 'uninhabitable,' meaning that no home report will be available, as it is 'unfit for occupation in its current state,' said Auction House Scotland.
