‘General Hospital’ star Tyler Christopher dead at 50
Tyler Christopher, best known for his work on “General Hospital,” has died at the age of 50, Page Six can confirm.
“Tyler passed away this morning following a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment,” he said alongside a photo of the late star.Tyler Christopher has died at the age of 50 following a “cardiac event,” his longtime friend and colleague, Maurice Benard, revealed Tuesday evening.He continued, “Tyler was a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting.
Christopher began his acting career by playing Nikolas Cassadine in 1996’s “General Hospital: Twist of Fate,” which became his career-defining role.“Tyler was a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting,” Benard added.He played Nikolas on the hit ABC series through 2016 and also acted on “Days of Our Lives” playing Stefan DiMera from 2018 to 2019.
