Former 'General Hospital' star Tyler Christopher dies at 50, friend announces

Daytime Emmy-winning actor Tyler Christopher, best known for his years playing Nikolas Cassadine on "General Hospital," has reportedly died at age 50."It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher. Tyler passed away this morning following a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment.

Christopher was previously married to actress Eva Longoria and sports reporter Brienne Pedigo . He is survived by his two children with Pedigo.
