A grade nine pupil at Hyde Park High faces detention because a teacher said her natural hair was"distracting".Zoe Chibuye was late for school last Friday and had to report to the school's reception.
"She [teacher] immediately said I have detention. I said,"why?". She said my hair is distracting and attention-grabbing.""She usually has it braided. And then one week she has it out she gets detention," said Gloria Chibuye.
