He originally suffered the injury in March. Sanderson noted he only started feeling 100 per cent about three weeks ago. He spent most of the summer in the city training. Not many players can live up to the hype, so the Senators are trying to temper expectations for Sanderson going into camp. Nobody has guaranteed him a spot on the blueline, however, it’s fair to say he’s got one to lose.
