The bus Limpopo was travelling from Harare, Zimbabwe to Durban.

In KwaZulu-Natal, one person was killed and fifty others were injured in a bus collision on the P66 between Gingindlovu and Eshowe.The passengers of a bus which collided with two vehicles on the N1 near Mookgophong in Limpopo today say they are still traumatised.The bus was travelling from Harare, Zimbabwe to Durban.

A driver of the sedan and a passenger succumbed to their injuries on the scene. The bus driver and the driver of the bakkie were transported to the hospital with injuries.Video: Limpopo – Two die in tragic car and bus collision on the N1 near Mookgophong“It’s a bit traumatising because almost everyone was sleeping and only few people could actually witness what had happened.

Meanwhile, the N1 south of Koppies towards Kroonstad in the Free State has been reopened to traffic following this morning’s crash involving a minibus and a truck.
