The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre’s Outreach Services teams was encouraging people to seek shelter. “If you are concerned about anyone in the cold, call 311, and the Outreach Team will be dispatched.”
OC Transpo said LRT trains may run at reduced speeds during certain periods of the day if crews need to do “enhanced cold weather inspections.” Trains will operate at lower speeds when the temperature drops below -35 C, the transit service said.Article content
