REGINA — Before he became Speedy B, Brandon Banks was a rather unknown CFL player.

Then came back-to-back Grey Cup losses against Winnipeg in 2019 — the year he was named CFL MOP — and then last year’s overtime setback in Hamilton.

Before that, Stanley was on Scott Milanovich’s staff in 2012 when the Argos won the Grey Cup in Toronto.Banks continues to hunt down that elusive Grey Cup win and knows this could be his last chance in potentially his final game. He is a man on a mission, knowing the clock is ticking. “It’s pretty amazing,’’ he said following a team practice Wednesday. “We started the season to get to this point. We set a goal at the beginning of the year and this is where we wanted to be. To be here is amazing because we were able to do what we said we were going to do.”
