Kelsey Grammer opens up about why none of the original Frasier stars are coming back for the reboot, adding that it turned out to be a great thing.
Despite the disappointment of not seeing Niles and other original cast members return for the Frasier reboot, Kelsey Grammer says it's actually a great thing. The actor and producer has been working to bring his iconic character back to TV for years now. While it's finally happening on Paramount+, the upcoming Frasier reboot will sadly not feature beloved characters like Niles, Daphne, or Roz.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Grammer doesn't delve into details about why the talks with his old co-stars fell through. While David Hyde Pierce has always been opposed to the idea, he and the rest kept the door open for a possible revival. Unfortunately, they just couldn't find the right way to do it in the Frasier revival with Grammer saying:
